Tandoori Skewers
Tandoori skewers are a vital part of the Tandoori oven in that the metal conducts heat from the fire up through the skewer which cooks the meat, fish or vegetables from the inside aswell as the outside.
A reduced cooking time due to the high temperature in the oven combined with the skewer will give a succulence to the meat or fish that you will not get in a conventional oven or BBQ.
We highly recommend the longer 1 metre skewers due to their ease of use and ability to hold more
meat or fish.
8mm thickness are better suited to meat but are also suitable for fish.
The naan hook and paddle are used together when the bread is ready.
The paddle eases it away from the oven side whilst the hook catches it from dropping into the fire.
